The Yearend Basketball Championship sponsored by Nigel Hinds Financial is set to start on Saturday December 21st in Berbice.
The event is sanctioned by the Berbice Amateur Basketball Association and will be contested at the New Amsterdam Basketball court and the Ithaca Basketball court featuring four teams from the Berbice area starting at 7:00pm each night with two games scheduled.
On Saturday’s opening night Hopetown take on Ithaca Hardliners at 7:00pm, while at 8:00pm Rose Hall town Jammers tangle with Canje Knights.
On night two, Sunday 22nd at 7:00pm the action moves to the west side at the Ithaca Basketball court. Canje Knights challenge Ithaca Hardliners, while Hopetown battle Rose Hall Town Jammers.
The winners will advance to challenge in the championship round.
