GEORGETOWN, Guyana \u2013 July 28, 2026 \u2013 The Guyana Basketball Federation has officially confirmed the men\u2019s and women\u2019s 3×3 basketball rosters set to represent the Golden Arrowhead at the prestigious XXV Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games. The highly anticipated tournament tips off on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Malec\u00f3n Deportivo in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n

Team Guyana will field two determined squads, each brimming with local talent and international experience, as they gear up to challenge some of the region’s most formidable basketball nations.<\/p>\n

The Women\u2019s Squad \u2013 Pool D<\/strong>
\nThe Guyana Women are ready to make their mark in Pool D, where they face a stern test against Caribbean rivals Jamaica and hosts Dominican Republic. The roster features a dynamic mix of athleticism and basketball IQ:

We know Puerto Rico and Haiti are tough opponents, but we are coming to Santo Domingo to compete and put Guyana on the map. The goal is to advance from our pool and make noise in the knockout rounds.\u201d<\/p>\n

Similarly to the men, the women expressed confidence in their unit, highlighting the balanced dynamic of the four-woman roster.
