Taylor Jones added 18 points and five boards for the winners.<\/p>\n<p>For Guyana, the defeat was a sharp contrast to their dominant start, where they thumped the Bahamas 102-75 on the opening night.<\/p>\n<p>Against the Virgin Islands, Joy Adams-Brown delivered a powerful performance in a losing effort, logging a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Ruth Adams also contributed 16 points and five rebounds.<\/p>\n<p>Guyana Head Coach Kenny Avent acknowledged the need for improvement, particularly regarding ball security.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe didn\u2019t handle the ball well and were not efficient in turnovers,\u201d Avent said.
