Leading the pack is Puerto Rico\u2019s team Carolina, ranked 14th<\/sup> globally by FIBA and the third-highest ranked team in the Americas,\u00a0Carolina\u2019s presence at the tournament is expected to elevate the event\u2019s profile, as they join elite teams from Switzerland, the Dominican Republic, Trinidad & Tobago, Suriname, Bermuda, St. Kitts & Nevis, the Cayman Islands, Mexico, the USA, Ecuador, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, and Grenada.<\/p>\n Carolina is spearheaded by Antonio Ralat, who led Puerto Rico to gold at the 2023 AmeriCup and a runner-up finish in the 2024 edition, falling just short against the USA.<\/p>\n Ralat, ranked 47th<\/sup> globally and the top player in Puerto Rico, is renowned for his skill and experience on the international stage.
