Clippers win five-aside basketball thriller

THE Plaisance Clippers won an exciting encounter on Wednesday night when action in the High Energy National five-a-side knockout basketball competition continued at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall. Clippers, who ended the regulation 15-minute game tied with Grove Warriors 28-all, won 31-30 in sudden death penalty shoot-out, 3-2, from the free throw line.
